Six Lines

Net of Insecurity

Posted by Aaron Massey on 24 Nov 2015.

Despite having a miserable title, the Washington Post’s series on the Net of Insecurity is definitely worth reading. It’s also a reasonably short and accurate overview to pass along to a non-techincal audience. It consists of five parts:

Part 1: A Flaw in the Design

Part 2: The long life of a quick ‘fix’

Part 3: A disaster foretold - and ignored

Part 4: Hacks on the highway

Part 5: The kernel of the argument

These articles have been collected into an ebook, which features a new and improved title, The Threatened Net: How the Internet Became a Perilous Place.

Worth reading and passing along.
