Another Horrible Plan for National Identification
Declan McCullagh’s recent article describes another horrible plan Congress has devised that is meant to “cure” our illegal immigration problems with a National ID card. Apparently this plan includes biometric identifiers on the card. This is wrong for so many reasons. It’s horrible security, even worse privacy, and even worse policy.
